Nexium Control
Nexium is a prescription drug that is used to treat heartburn, acid reflux and stomach problems. It is also used to treat the symptoms of a mixed system atrophy (swelling and congestion) of stomach and intestinal systems such as enteropathy. Before taking this medicine, you must not have it for more than 4 hours a day. If you have been prescribed Nexium for gastric problems, your doctor will ask you how long you need to take this medicine. You must be prescribed this drug if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nexium 20mg tablets should be taken with water.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you need to use it every day. If you call your doctor for an examination while taking this medicine, do not take it along with certain vitamins. If you get any side effects not listed in the leaflet page, please hesitate and state your them.
Nexium is a both an anesthetic and sedative drug. Sudden onset of seizures may cause vividness, weakness or blurred vision. You must not take this medicine for more than 4 hours in a day to avoid seizures. If you have any questions related to Nexium or your seizures, please contact your doctor.
Nexium is not considered to be a controlled substance and should not be used by children.
Nexium is not known to have any beneficial effect on the liver or kidneys. You must strictly avoid taking this medicine. If you are suffering from no side effects from taking this medicine, please refrain from further use.

Description:Nexium Acid Reducer Esomeprazole Magnesium 20mg is intended for use for treatment of frequent heartburn (occurs 2 or more days a week). This product is not intended for immediate relief of heartburn; drug may take 1 to 4 days for full effect.
Directions for Adults Age 18+:Swallow 1 capsule with glass of water before eating in the morning. Take 1 capsule per day for 14 days. May take 1 to 4 days for full effect. Do not take for more than 14 days or more often than ever 4 months, unless directed by physician.

Do not use:- for children under 18 years of age.- if allergic to esomeprazole.- if allergic to any other proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole, rabeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole).- if you are taking antiretroviral medicines, such as atazanavir.- if you are taking cilostazol a medicine used to treat pain and/or cramping in the lower leg (or arms) due to inadequate blood flow to the muscles.- if you are breastfeeding or intend to breastfeed.- -f you are experiencing weight loss, persistent regurgitation of food or vomiting, difficulty swallowing or symptoms of gastro-intestinal bleeding, except on medical advice- if you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant except on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist- if the expiry date printed on the pack has passed.
